Our (hopefully) last cold-snap was last weekend. It was cool and
extrememly windy. We had gusts of 40mph. In addition to this, the
tide was very low. Bryan had an idea of us going to Sanibel. (Great
idea, I must say!) Sanibel is an island west of Ft. Myers and is known
for its beautiful shells. As many times as we have been there, we
have never visited one end. Until this weekend. Here are a few pics
of our findings. This helped to add to our 'collection' of ocean life.
The kids spent Monday night and Tuesday moring sorting and
identifying some of our findings. Needless to say, we all gained
knowledge over the last few weeks...
